Weekly Updates! October 19-30th

Hello Hamilton Families,

This fall weather just keeps getting more beautiful! It is definitely my favorite time of year! Thank you to all the families who donated to the Tat The Teacher day! We had a lot of fun with it and the students loved seeing us wear the tattoos they picked out for us.

Weekly Updates! September 21-October 2

Hello Hamilton Families,

It was wonderful to see so many of you at the Fall Festival! The PTA did a great job planning and organizing this family event. Your participation in school events helps to let students know how important school is and strengthen the home-school connection. Thank you for being a part of our Hamilton events!

Hello Hamilton Families,

Happy Labor Day! I hope everyone is okay after that crazy weather on Thursday, thank goodness our students had been dismissed home safely. Luckily we had just practiced our severe weather drill earlier in the day. Our staff practices drill and prepares for weather incidents regularly.

Welcome to our 3rd week of school! We are off to a great start. It has been wonderful seeing all of our returning students and getting to know our new students. Please make sure to check the Class Dojo daily for updates and school to home communication.

Hello Hamilton Families!

I really need your help!! We are having ongoing (and far too frequent) incidents between parents in the parking lot. Please stop engaging in arguments about where people are parked, how long they are taking to move, if they accidentally bump your door. These are all things that can be resolved without making a scene. If everyone does their part and follows the drop off and pick up procedure we will not have any issues.

  1. Drive slow!
  2. Be ready to wait, we have a lot of kids to drop off/pick up, it will take a few minutes
  3. If you get out of your driver set, you must be in an actual parking spot.
  4. DO NOT let your child out in the middle lane. This is not only very dangerous, it holds up traffic.
  5. If someone makes a gesture at you PLEASE IGNORE THEM your reaction will not change their behavior and just causes more conflict.
  6. Your child should enter and exit their assigned door (unless it is pouring rain).
  7. Please share this with anyone who is picking your child up as we have had a number of relatives pick children up and not follow the procedure.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and for being a positive role model for all our students.

Hello Hamilton Families!

I hope you are all staying warm and safe during our arctic winter blast! Please remember that doors do not open until 8:15 regardless of the temperature. Supervising staff do not report until 8:15 so there is no one to supervise the children before that time. Please remember to send students with the winter apparel and label it because we have many children with similar or the same items.

Hello Hamilton Families!

Thank you to everyone who came out for parent-teacher conferences! Your involvement is one of the top indicators of your child's success in school! If for some reason you were not able to meet with your child's teacher please reach out to reschedule. It is important that you meet with your child's teacher to learn how your child is doing and how we can continue to work as a team to ensure your child's success.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from my family to your family. I wish you a wonderful holiday season and a happy and safe New Year! I know I am very excited to celebrate my grandsons first Christmas! Enjoy the two weeks off and be ready to start back in January for the second half of our year. We have already had such a great year so far. I am always amazed at how hard our students and staff work and how much they grow in a short amount of time. Being a part of the Hamilton community is something I am very proud of!
